Hello all from South East Texas, Beaumont and Houston area

Hello all, this is the first blog I have ever joined and it has been great reading the information you folks post and watching the videos, I have wet shaved all of my life with an old Gillett razor my grandfather and dad gave me when I turned 13. Then around 2007 or so was when I started using products from deferent artisan's I found out about through friends that travel to the UK once a year. I guess it was about two years ago my shaving turned into a great hobby like most of you and it has been a blast. I watch a lot of you guys on you tube and It was one of Chris Baileys video's that he mentioned the damn fine shave group so I joined about a week ago. I only have a couple of razors, 9 brushes and lots of soaps and after shaves, I use them all and looking forward to trying some new ones this year.
I am 51 and live in South East Texas and travel around the state along with Louisiana due to my job, so I have time while setting in the hotels to watch videos and read. I have to say finding a specialty shaving store in ether state is almost none. since I found you and others on You Tube last year you all have opened my eyes to a lot of things and vendors.

yeah, I'm not exactly sure where they live...just that they live 'in Houston'..lol.

I've only met some of my family from Texas before. I'll be heading to Texas at the end of the year, hopefully, to meet the rest of my family. maybe we can schedule a meetup in Texas when I'm in your area!

LOL, indeed my friend. Good old Texas weather. I was in the pool on Christmas Day.
