Just in case you haven't seen, Fine has just released news of a new aftershave and also the release of his new soap base in a number of his aftershave scents.

I quite like the sound of L'Orange Noir in his soap.

Oli, the Fine L' Orange Noir soap is one of the soaps that I'll definitely buy. Although, the Dapper Dragon just launched a new scent called Terre du Dragon and it has a similar scent profile with the Fine soap. I will try it soon and let you know about my thoughts. These scents are based on the scent of Terre d' Hermes perfume.

D.R. Harris Windsor, Fine L' Orange Noir, Dapper Dragon Terre du Dragon, all share the same scent profile. I'm not sure if I have to get excited or not.

I am a big Terre D'Hermes lover but up until recently I wasn't transfixed by any of the soaps out there with this scent in terms of performance.

I know all about Dapper Dragons performance and how good it is but what's been the overall feeling for performance of Fines soaps?

I have read and seen a few video reviews on the Fine soap Oli,can't recall seeing a bad review.I would like to hear thoughts from people that have spent some time with the soap though.I sometimes wonder if the "hype" of a new product drives some of the reviews in a positive direction.I have several soaps that where the "soap of the day" that I thought I loved, only to find out after using them a while they were mediocre at best.

Dapper Dragons offering(Terre Du Dragon)has been the best TdH clone soap I have used to date. Not a dead ringer but best over all in scent to performance.

Cool. I'd enjoy a soap with the Fresh Vetiver scent.

Very close on scent(AS splash especially)Not a bad soap, just not as good as Mike's,CRSW etc. in performance, but it is half the price of them.At the price point it is worth a try if you never used it.

RazoRock SOZ is one of those that I did enjoy, I loved the scent but over time I found soaps that performed better.

After having tried it, I have to say that I fully disagree. It's not even close. Just a mild masculine scent with orange notes.

The best TdH clone by far is the Windsor by D.R. Harris.
