He contacted me basically telling me, you’ll get it when I’m done. So, yeah….just patiently waiting but I’m likely done at this point.

Yeah man, I have 15 handles with his knots and 7 more coming…..someday. I think I may be done as well because something is going on with him. I have had a great relationship with him over the years but the no communication thing is really bothering me!!

If he can't keep up, he should at least post a message on his various pages advising of the backlog so people don't have their money / goods sitting with him. There are examples out there of respected artisans who built up a good reputation over years and vanished with customers' money, so I would definitely be paranoid.

You're making it sound like there are tanks on the streets in Australia.. 

Strongly suggest it more a trade war with China than lockdown issue. Although both likely contributing. The state of international affairs are less than optimal and getting worse at moment
