Has anyone heard from Rhodium?

Hi DFS,

Im wondering if anyone has heard from, or corresponded with Srdjan at Rhodium in the last couple of weeks to a month?

I am starting to worry because he usually responds to me pretty quick but I have sent him private messages and an emails and I haven’t heard a word from him.

Well that’s no good. You were my next person I was going to pm. I’m starting to think I may be screwed.

For those not news followers, Australia and China are on terrible terms at the minute. Generally trade and diplomatic relations have reached a breaking point with neither side backing down. It is likely that Australian artisans may be unable to source Chinese hair at present for reasons beyond their control.

Whether this is a signal for great concern is difficult to determine depending on Australia's ability to repair relations with China or if there are alternative sources for badger hair.

Yeah man, he has 7 of my handles and I have not received a response from him in the last few weeks. Not good at all! I just hope he is alright! He has his latest batch of hair for knotting and the delay since February was getting that batch but he got it. Sooooo, I have no idea what is going on.

I’m one of the easiest customers one could ever ask for. The only thing that I expect from anyone, especially a one man artisanal operation, is communication. Going to take a year to get a brush? Totally fine, just let me know.

He has failed in this regard. I hope he is ok. There are bigger things than wetshaving. I’ll leave it at that.

I had a knot of his fail so I had to ship the thing back to Australia to get it fixed. He’s had it since April and I haven’t heard a peep despite trying to contact him on his personal and business pages. At this point I’m assuming that i may not see this brush or the funds again.

He will get you taken care of if he is ok. I know he was completely backed up the last time I talked to him and he was just starting to get caught up before he went dark. He may just have his head down working through orders. I am going to try to contact his sister if I don’t hear from him by the end of next week.

I just got a message from Srdjan and he is alright. He is just way behind and this batch of hair that he is working on has a lot of cleaning up to do. Here is a pic that he sent of some of the brushes he is doing for me. He said he will be gluing in these knots sometime this coming week.
