Despite the outdoor lights on and candy at the ready we haven't had any trick or treaters in decades*. So we buy what the wife likes for candy because she'll be eating it. It's her supply for the year and unless I miss my guess she still has some from last year.

*Maybe it's the moat full of crocigators and the junk yard dogs if they make it through the moat. It sure seems that way. Or maybe it's just a mature neighborhood out in the boondocks.

BTW, the "yukki" necco wafers pictured make great biodegradable .22 targets. Sort of tiny clay pidgeon targets.
