Been doing lots of shave offs with the original P076 lately and I have mixed feelings. Works well, nice to look at ( I prefer the lines on the original head) but the results and feel during use do not distinguish this razor. Could be a good thing as it signals it is not a fussy razor. Shiny does not move the needle for me though, so the 76 remains just another razor among many in the den.

Where should I start? I have sold two of my razors which have received little attention lately to make some money. Did I need this aggressive? No. Was I interested? Yes!
I have the 1.30 aggressive and the 0.83 aggressive and both are wonderful but still different. I just wanted to know - how does this compare, why a third aggressive and why a gap that remains to the P076. Or is this just a modern interpretation?[Image: WR8Tack.jpg]
$400 razor, machined finish - it's up to you to know if it's worth it. The market is changing, costs are rising and so on. Machined finish - yes I expect machining marks but still a clean job. Especially with such an expensive razor. As you can see - it is dirty and stained, the edges are very sharp. For me, simply a no go and I do not care which manufacturer it is. The previous razors were always top processed, whether machined, polish or light polish. Very sad.
The first shave follows tomorrow and I will report further.
I will also let him compete against the P076 and the others aggresive. [Image: LeOFNrl.jpg][Image: KYHQiEV.jpg][Image: FdtV5GA.jpg][Image: TpIxY5s.jpg][Image: qPuaHrW.jpg][Image: s7yPBms.jpg][Image: TJvArtJ.jpg][Image: tyW2M55.jpg]

Wow...I'd be upset if someone shipped me a used razor that looked as shabby as this,
let alone a new one. I have sent stuff back for a full refund for MUCH less.

Terrible. I don’t think Aji is really involved anymore.

If anyones bought an HS razor in the past 5 years you would understand his disappointment.

If I look at my other ones - its kinda dissapointing.

Korii I agree with you and the other fellows already posted. That's really a shame, one thing that draws me to H&S is the quality.
I would definitely be squawking to Aji about that one, way out of bounds for his gear.
If he's not in control he needs to be aware and get them squared away and straightened out.
In the meantime wipe the grease off, if it comes off,  and get some shaves in with it.

Ive wrote a mail to H&S - just to let them know that they should check the quality management.
Ive got an instant reply:
"It unfortunately seems that a small batch of the Aggressive razor went out without any cleaning being done between the top cap and bottom plate, and this was discovered after receiving your email earlier today."
"A small handful of razors that weren't cleaned were apparently mixed with razors that were already cleaned, and you were a recipient of one that wasn't cleaned as we are learning"
They offered me 50$ refund as a apologize for that mistake which is cool.
So everything has been cleared and Ive cleaned it by myself.

The first shave is done and I must say that I am positively surprised.
For the aggressive razor you need top software so I opted for Lothur. Very slick and protective.
The razor weighs a total of 64grams (15grams head / 49grams handle) the previous aggressive heads were about 1-2grams lighter (kitchen scale). I really like the knurling of the handle. Not as deep as the previous version - more like the fully knurled variant but grippier, less slippery, feels like a anti slip coating.
As a blade I took as in the product photos an Astra P which I threw out after the first strokes and inserted a Nacet. The Astra felt a bit dull for the razor. Nacet was a very good choice and slid only so through the stubble. The shaving angle is easy to find and the razor has a relatively large shaving angle.
The bladeclamping felt better than in the previous versions. Very efficient and purely from the feeling very sustainable. Against the grain you noticed that you hold an aggressive in the hand - not unpleasant but a little more blade feeling. Reminded me a bit of a Carbon .68
What surprised me - no blood and no razor burn. The aftershave also burned very briefly. As it should be.
As a daily razor it would probably be too much for me but for every 2 days def the right decision.

Overall I am very happy with this version - next shave will be against the P076 and then against the previous two models. Its near to the 083 aggressive. The 1.30 is the most aggressive from this lineup.

Nice one Korii , I love happy endings Smile

I would also be interested in a comparison to the Ti efficient.
