Some of the studies that get conducted only prove the lack of intelligence (common sense? experience?) of the folks doing the study.

Just unbelievable! I wonder how much money they were paid to do the study? I admit I skimmed the article and might have missed it.

Well, I suspect that this is another instance in which scientists said, "Yes, it seems to be common sense. But until it is tested in a controlled study, it is not proven fact."

Hilarious. Like you said, duh. Obviously hitting someone or something with a rock lashed on the end of a stick is both more effective and easier on the fingers than using just a rock. Even “early” humans knew that.
