Hi muzichead

In perfumery, the term "fresh air" is often used to describe a type of fragrance that evokes a clean, crisp, and invigorating sensation. Scent notes labeled as "fresh" are typically composed of notes that bring to mind elements found in nature, such as citrus fruits, green leaves, cut grass, white flowers, aquatic accords, and sometimes ozone or sea breeze notes. These scents are designed to give the impression of a breath of fresh air, cleanliness, and a revitalizing experience.

And if you would like to dig deeper Smile

I've spoken to a few customers who have purchased Schön, and they all seem to agree that the closest apple variety is the Lady Apple, also known as the Api apple in France. Both varieties are known for their small size, sweet earthy flavor, and crisp texture.

Thanks to Brabrian80, who was the first person to share his thoughts on what apples we are talking about Smile

Another comment was posted on a Discord: "Schön is definitely a crisp apple, mixed with other fresh wonderfulness. It’s not really a harvest scent, but rather a sweet, clean one."

Purchased and received the new Amare, Ardent, and two tubs of Schön along with matching aftershaves. I shaved this morning with Schön and wish I would have bought even more of it. I can't imagine not having this soap in my life moving forward. Like all of the recent mallard releases, the actual shave quality and post shave are nothing short of luxury approaching decadence. I was and still am a big fan of Mo's previous apple scented offering, Tentazione, but Schön is better. Schön is a more complex scent, but without becoming murky, and in some strange way the amazing scent and quality of the shave combined for a truly refreshing and exhilarating experience.

Hi TazerFloyd

I was less experienced when I made Tentazione Smile

It's truly heartening to hear that you enjoyed using Schön. This scent seems to be well received, everywhere!

I'm so grateful for your business and support of the Grooming Dept over many years now. It brings me immense joy to know that the products I make are enhancing your shaving ritual. Thank you for taking the time to provide thoughtful feedback.

I still have a partial tub of Tentiazone, which was released in the Lusso tallow base. While both the soap base and the scent were quite good, both pale in comparison to the current version of Mallard and the new Schön scent. Over the past few years, Mohammad's soapmaking and perfumery skills have improved significantly. I love the way you describe both the performance of the soap as well as character of the scent. Well done.

This is a definite sign that you need to purchase more Grooming Dept soaps... lots of them so you never hit the bottom of the tub again.

Had a  great shave today with Omnia (Kairos SE ‘22), found it to be a nice pairing with this DG Albizia AS I picked up recently.
