I''m disappointed that Mohammad has pushed back the SE releases by a few weeks as RayClem noted and will have to wait longer for the four SE releases later in the summer hopefully, if there is no further delays.

I have a full tub of each KSE released so far, which do you want? PM me directly. You pay retail plus ship

I certainly won't quibble over the minor differences between Kairos and Kairos SE. They are both superb soaps. I have a water softener, so I do not have to contend with hard water. That might make a difference. Both Kairos and Kairos SE provide sufficient cushion for me to get a shave free of irritation; but I do love the luxurious feel of Kairos SE when applied to my face. I consider Kairos SE to be the best soap I have every used, but there are some others that come close.

As far as the delay in the Kairos SE release, remember that Mohammad operates alone. He does not have help with the development, production, or shipment of his products. Releasing 11 Kairos soaps at one time is a huge undertaking. He needs to get most of those soaps shipped before he can begin production on the next batches.

Mohammad has received many requests for matching aftershaves. The next Kairos SE release will come with matching aftershaves. I do not know whether he plans to sell the soaps and aftershaves separately or as a matched pair. Since Mohammad tends to create new scents for every release, my gut feeling is that the the aftershaves will sell only as part of a matched set. I am hoping he makes more soaps than aftershaves so the soaps can be sold separately. I rarely use aftershaves, but might try one of them just to see how good it is.

Kairos is a superb soap; it is one of my super-elite soaps. About the only difference I notice between Kairos and Kairos SE is that the later has a postshave feel that will linger beyond 24 hours while the regular Kairos starts to fade around the 24 hour mark. There are only a handful of soap formulas that can reach 24 hours. Grooming Dept has three of them: Kairos, Kairos SE, and Mallard.

No matter what your scent preferences, I suspect you will be able to find something you like among the 11 scents listed. Le Tabac won't be exactly the same as the Fortis Le Tabac scent, but will also borrow from the Mallard Amore scent. Sandalwood Nobile was formerly released in the Janus Tallow formula. It is a very nice sandalwood scent.

Although I have too many soaps in my den, I am  planning to purchase a tub of Oud Osmanthus as that scent sounds wonderful. I would also purchase English Lavender if my skin were not so sensitive to lime and lemon.

Although Mohammad is planning to release additional Kairos SE soaps in the near future, it won't happen in July. Mo has been working on an aftershave formula without alcohol. When the new Kairos SE soaps are released in a few weeks, they will be accompanied by matching scents in the new aftershave.

There are several very attractive choices in this upcoming Kairos release including the two you mention that you like. That said, there is something to be said for keeping some of my powder dry for the KSE release with matching aftershaves. The opportunity to buy matching sets will be very hard to resist.

Which soaps are everyone wanting to get? I'm thinking Diamond Dust, Le Tabac, and Oud Osmanthus

I have selected Oud Osmanthus as my primary purchase. I am considering the Eau de Magnolia as well, but am not quite decided. I have way too many soaps, so I do not need any more, but the scents and performance are so good, I have difficulty resisting.

Oud Osmanthus, Eau de Magnolia and English Lavender ordered. Jasmine & Civet, Tobacco Oud and Le Tabac also looked inviting but did not make the cut.

I admire your restraint RayClem.  Those of us with way too many soaps have the weakest claim to restraint, so that in this instance, limiting oneself to a jar or two requires strong discipline.  OTOH, and even though my compliment is serious and sincere, I am happy to have not lived up to your standard on this particular occasion.

Note: The middle soap is Tobacco Oud.
