Some of the posts mention Omnia and Ousia as lamb tallow soaps. These soaps are in the Kairos SE base. While the soaps do contain lamb tallow, they are different than the lamb tallow formula as represented by Angel. I loved the lamb tallow formula and the Angel scent, but Kairos SE is even more luxurious..

Due to the response to the release of Pasio'n, Mohammad made a lot more of the Omnia and Ousia soaps. than he normally would. Thus, there are still soaps in stock on the web site for anyone who has not yet ordered or who might want to pick up additional tubs. I ordered both and they arrived on Friday. I will shave with one of them this morning.

There are soaps still available in the regular Kairos formula for those who want to save a couple of dollars. While I do not consider them to be quite as luxurious as Kairos SE, they are still better than all but a few soaps on the market..

One more thing about Omnia and Ousia is that they can take a LOT of water very happily.  Mohammad said to push them and they can just drink up water.  Today I pushed Omnia with a ton of water - just kept adding -- I got a very wet and very very fine shave.

BTW as to the lamb point.  I wasn't suggesting that the Kairos SE soaps were the same as Angel.  Just that Angel was a lamb-containing base and Kairos SE is also lamb-containing.  I seem to like what Mohammad does when he uses lamb. Angel was a favorite soap of mine, and all three of the Kairos SEs have leapt to the top rung of my personal pecking order.  Perhaps, I think, to the very top.  Certainly in that rarefied realm where I have a shave and say "wow".

I very much agree with everything you said. Lamb Tallow Angel was superb, but Kairos SE is even better. I have not yet tried to push the water on Kairos SE as I like a good balance between slickness and protection. However, on my next shave, I plan to reduce the amount of soap I load. When I used Omnia, I loaded my 26mm badger brush for 10 seconds and got plenty of soap for 6-7 passes. I am going to cut back to 7 seconds load time for the next shave.

I have so many high-quality soaps now in my collection, that my focus is no longer on performance, but on "perfume grade" scents. That does not mean that the scent is perfume strength, but it does mean that the scent is perfectly blended. I consider Omnia to meet that criteria. The name Omnia comes from the root "omni" which means everything. Thus, the scent is a little bit of everything. It is a little cirtrusy, a little fruity, a little floral, a little spicy, a little herbal, and a little resinous. Although I can detect each of these scent groups in the accord, I cannot detect any of the individual notes. It is perfectly blended....a masterpiece scent. It is not a strong scent; I would probably consider it around 4/10 on strength.

Mohammad has been trying to perfect an aftershave formulation. I suggested that he consider Omnia as one of the scents to be released as an aftershave. Although I rarely use aftershaves or colognes, this is one I would purchase; the scent is that good.

I also purchased Ousia. I have not shaved with it yet. Off the tub, it is a nice scent, but I detect a slight scent of cumin. There is no cumin in the scent notes; but immortelle can impart a cumin scent; I presume that is what I am smelling. While that cumin is apparent to my nose off the tub, it might not be as apparent after lathering when other scents in the accord are allowed to emerge.  Thus, I am glad I added Ousia to my collection as well.

As of April 18, Ousia is sold out on the web site. There are still tubs of Omnia available as well as the regular Kairos soaps.
I you are interested in them, order soon.

According to Mohammad, Kairos Laundry II was the best seller initially, but Kairos SE Ousia caught up and surpassed it.
He thought there would be enough stock to last a month, but Ousia only lasted 10 days.

RayClem  that's a great update. Good for Mohammed.
Edit: I was pleased with the shipping time, I didn't watch the calendar, but it seemed good. ?

Years ago, one of my initial hesitancies with regard to Grooming Dept was the scents.  Too hit or miss.  That is no longer an issue for me as the scents of the soaps I have recently ordered are stellar.  What changed?  Two things.  One, my own scent palate changed and improved.  The second change is that, IMHO, Mo has gotten better at crafting his scents.  I like all three Kairos SE scents and all three of the new Mallards scents that I purchased.  Of these, two stand out.  Out of the new Kairos SE scents, Pasión is hauntingly beautiful.  Of the three Mallard soaps I have (Corretto, Coconut Rum and Almond Vanilla), Mallard Almond Vanilla is very attractive to my nose, standing above the other two.  What is the bottom line to all of this (apart from the fact I am buying too damn many soaps)?  Mo is making it darn hard to stop buying his soaps.  I have had to rein in my spending a bit and had to pass on Luxury.  The scents are sophisticated and the performance top notch making such decisions more difficult. For those who missed out on the release of Ousia and Omnia, never fear, there will be more Kairos SE soaps released in the future.
The previous scents will not be repeated, but the new scents should be of similar quality.

I was not a fan of a couple of Mohammad's earlier scents, but most of his more recent scents are masterpieces. His skill has improved and he also understands his customer base better.

Like Southsider, I have too many soaps in my den, so I might have to pass on the next release and give others a chance to grab some..

Definitely agree re: Mohammad’s scents. Much improved (at least for me). But in the category of everyone’s tastes differ, for me, the only SE I don’t like of the three (so far) is Pasión. Too floral for me.  Ousia for me. Btw, if anyone wants Pasión I have an unused puck - message me, as it will otherwise be put into a BST den clearance soon.

Pasion is another of those scents benefitting greatly from breathing.

Leave a bowl smeared with Pasion out overnight ready for lathering come the dawn. While quite nice straight off the puck, having had a chance to air overnight, it simply amazing: tastefully subtle and nuanced. It wonderfully elegant aired versus directly lathered
