Had another great shave with Clarus today. I can not tell the difference between the performance of my vegan and tallow GD soaps. I have yet to try the duck base.

I would be interested in trying/comparing the non scented versions of the tallow, duck, and vegan bases if a pass around was started. I think you should throw the Clarus into the mix Mohammad if a pass around is going to happen.

Had my first shave with GD this am with Kulfi. Great performance, slick and protective, easy to lather. Will be trying Angel and chypre conifere this weekend. Kulfi has a very interesting scent not sure if will be a favorite but I do appreciate its uniqueness. I do think it will grow on me. Will report more impressions after using all three over the next week or so. Mo’s soaps are as fabulous as everyone says. Look forward to trying more. Definitely on par with WK if not better. Will need to Can’t wait for Mo’s venture into aftershaves. Well done Mo. Keep being the mad scientist with your based and fragrances. ??

So happy you like the soaps thank you so much of the compliments.

I'm starting to be a little more comfortable to talk about my scents Smile

Kulfi is hella complex scent Smile Has a touch of abstract booziness, a touch of raisins or cherry, a bready note which it shares with Earl Grey. The rose note is on the dry petal type of rose. The cardamom is strong and lively. The Sandalwood which I blended out of 14 molecules is super creamy. One of my favorite ingredients in it is Saffron, it's leathery, phenolic with a touch of tobacco.

Had my first shave with Angel yesterday. Wonderful scent, it is spicy and sweet to my nose. Will take a few more shaves to be able to properly compair it to the other formulas, but what others were talking about with the "lighter" feel at least from the first shave. The post shave was excellent, sprayed some Floid Black and the scent of Angel lingered longer than the aftershave did which was cool.

The big surprise was the scent of Chypre Conifere, it is a clean citrus pine/woodsy scent that is just beautiful.

I think Mo has outdone hiself on these scents. Both are well blended, unique and would make a great aftershave or EDT. And I really look forward to and am grateful to watch GD grow as a artisan and see what is up next. Having ambition and drive to grow as a business, coming up with new ideas and scents helps stay relevant and on the radar. Keep up the good work Mo and thank you for making the best products possible.

Hmm...I’d love just a lime forward barbershop...

Maybe I should strip the smoke from After The Fire and figure out a new name/label for the underlying barbershop scent. But, I might get flak from certain people who would consider it unethical and a shady move Smile

I got the name for you then...”Before The Fire”.....No charge Mohammad...

Seriously....Love the concept and scent description. Easy for you to do. And, I’ll be first in line to get some!

I like the name, thank you for the freebie Smile

I need to come with a label design. This soap will stay in the hybrid base beef-tallow/duck-fat, but will get special treatment from other ingredients, since it's a special edition. It's on!

Label is easy. Just take your After The Fire label and use the exact same illistration...BUT......now it will show how this same scene looked Before The Fire.....It goes back in time basically..
