Correlation, especially via weak metaphors, is not causation. Nice try though.

Listen, I have always respected you here on these forums. Please don't change that by continuing to shill for something that doesn't merit your ongoing defense. Nobody's attacking the product and the business mistakes have been plentiful and frequent. And it appears they are continuing. Things are as they are. And that's all I'm saying.

Try just admitting what's true and move on. I'm happy to do the same.

If you are honest, you will remember that I was at least as big of a supporter as you were. But when I got lied to repeatedly, I stopped buying in to the BS. If that has not been your experience, great. I'm sure it's not everybody's. But it was really bad. At least for me.

You know what they say, a happy customer may tell a few people but an angry customer will certainly tell a lot. It behooves a business to be honorable, forthright and do as they promised. And that's all I'm saying. Period.

Being less than literate, am not one to cast aspersions on others surely superior in education and accomplishment. However, words do matter; as such need we clarify the understanding of the term "shill"? The best can muster is Oxford as a resource, defining thusly:

"An accomplice of a confidence trickster or swindler who poses as a genuine customer to entice or encourage others"
or
"A person who pretends to give an impartial endorsement of something in which they themselves have an interest"

Do we in reality want to put forth this term in the debate? Have tried to be kind and respectful in disagreement but incidental usage of this term inappropriately may vex some of the parties having been labeled improperly if not maliciously.

You do realize that you're in the Grooming Dept forum so most people that are here are going to like his products? If the definition of a shill, as I looked it up, is "an enthusiastic customer" then I guess we're all shills here. Or "she'll" as you put it. You're in the merchants forum complaining about the merchant. What kind of response do you think you'll get. You're here complaining for no other reason than you just want to complain.

I do have to ask what exactly it is that you're out? Does Mohammad own you money, or some soap perhaps? Or did someone hurt your feelings? If you're really out something then I'm sure he'd be happy to make you whole again as he hasn't screwed anyone else or scammed anyone that I know of.

If you're biggest complaint is that someone didn't do what they said they were going to do then you must hate just about everybody in this world. We've all had this happen to us at one point or another. Sometimes intentional and sometimes not, but it happens. You will be disappointed every single day if you have a negative attitude.

If you encounter someone that disappoints you in life then you just distance yourself from that person. Everyone is not going to like everyone else and if you're not happy with a merchant then you probably shouldn't hang out in their forum.

You should also save the complaining for when you have a real problem. You did this exact same thing on the other shaving forum and now you're here repeating it all over again. At least when you did it there you had a legitimate gripe as it was in the middle of the problems and people didn't have their orders yet. Since then all of the orders have been filled, an apology has been made, and some changes have been made going forward to insure that it doesn't happen again.

Lol - One can only call them as one sees them.

So how about that soap? Are you liking it?

Perhaps it's time to take a little advice and move along. I too have tried to be nice. And like I said, I will respond to each shill type of response I see. Will let my responses or lack thereof determine what I potentially think about what I am responding to.

I have nothing to say on the ongoing debate, but this is absolutely bullshit. Most of the comments here will be regarding GD, but not everyone will like his products/service and opinions stated here will reflect that.

I sure do like Mo’s Soaps. I’m really looking forward to the next Mallard release, whether it’s released on the 26th or Feb. 6th I’ll buy it. His Soaps are some of my very favorite in Scent, Performance, and Post Shave. I know that Mo is a single Artisan making Soap, and I’m sure he does the best he can as far as delivering when promised. I would love to meet a wet shaver who is on the verge of running out of Soap, that would be a first for me. Me personally, I don’t care if it’s late, I know it will perform when I get it. Not to mention that it’s shipped for FREE. I only know of one other Artisan that offers this. I know I’m not running out of Soap anytime soon, so I’m definitely not going to sweat it. I also know that Mo is taking steps to remedy the problems that have occurred in the past. He even sent me an email apologizing and offering a discount on a future purchase. That’s above and beyond good customer service to me. And that doesn’t make me a Shill either. I don’t know Mo from Adam and have never spoken to him in my life. If you don’t like it move on, Your concerns have been voiced. If you feel that you’ve been wronged choose not to give your business to Mohammad, easy solution. There are plenty of great Soaps out there. Also please realize that just because you feel this way doesn’t mean you will be able to make everyone else feel the same way, we’re allowed to have our own opinions. I’ve heard your concerns and your gripes and I’m tired of hearing them. I can see why Artisans like Will from B&M no longer want to participate on social media.

Sure there were problems with the vendor.

I ordered twice and both times my orders were late.

With the second order one that I ordered (Rose and Insense) was part of a failed batch so I didn't get it at all. I was refunded the money for that soap so I'm not out the cash but that scent was appealing to me.

It's not ideal but I have other soaps and after all if it turned out bad with the vendor then I could just contest the charge on my credit card and be made whole again. So not a big risk on my part. It really wasn't that big of a deal to me and I didn't lose any sleep over it.

Sure the guy made some mistakes (a lot of them) but I tend to go through life with a positive attitude. I forgive and forget. I sleep well at night knowing that I do my best to be a good person. I'm not angry with you over this conversation. I don't hold onto any hate or carry a grudge toward anyone. I'd recommend that you work out your differences with the vendor as this anger is certainly not productive.

I didn't appreciate my orders being late but I got an honest apology. He admitted that he'd made several mistakes and felt sick about it. I believe that the apology was sincere and the soaps are outstanding. So I forgave him.

I've been around this and other forums for a while now so I've seen just about every mistake made from a vendor standpoint. I can tell you that I've seen a lot of shady stuff and this wasn't shady. Sure mistakes were made (that he's learned from) but it wasn't in an effort to scam anyone.

I really don't want to argue about this anymore. If you're upset, and I can tell that you are, please do try and work it out with the vendor offline in a civilized manner.

Some great soaps forthcoming and rumors of Shea Olein being introduced in another product. Wonderful ingredient!

Thank you so much for your support!

I'm super excited about the Shea Olien. I have had about 1kg which I have been using in test batches. I now believe it's a great ingredient to use in the balm. So I went ahead and ordered 20kg Smile

Another ingredients which I also ordered 20kg of is this amazing ingredient which will be in the liquid aftershaves Glucam E-20
