The Magnolia in the vegan base will return on October 31st. This Magnolia is dirty floral, slightly jammy with lots of resinous notes, it's a dark scent, ambery and woody.

The tallow Magnolia is much more floral, jasmine, aquatic, musty, woody and animalic

Wow! Thank you so much everyone. DFS is my hub Smile I'm grateful to everyone here and elsewhere.

I was slammed with orders yesterday. I won't be able to ship any orders till Tuesday. But, I'm dropping them off at the main SF-USPS distribution center near SFO, they should move pretty quickly from there.

The only soap of yours I own is Mallard.  Why?  Because I already own five (maybe six!) lifetimes worth of soap and had promised myself to curtail my purchases.  But the post shave feel of Mallard is so incredible I felt forced to order After The Fire yesterday.  Alas, I think I have fallen down Grooming Dept's rabbit hole!  Wonderland, Absinth & Leather, and Magnolia & Oud all sound so incredible to me that I will most likely order all three in December. Great job -- I'm impressed!

I just noticed that using the Tapatalk app on my Pixel XL, we are now on page 666 of this forum. LOL

Maybe this explains Mohammad's hold on my mind as it relates to shaving soap now. I simply don't want any others. LOL

Maybe I need to be saying, "Master Mohammad" now?

Anyway, all kidding aside, I can't wait to get my new Mallard chocolate, coffee Etc soap that I just bought.

I was serious though when I said that I just don't want other brands now.

How long did it take you to get there, Max? vtmax I took up this hobby late 2014 and currently have fifty plus soaps, most of which are from different producers (B&M the odd one out, from which I have seven or eight). Would be nice to get it down to a number more agreeable to my significant other Wink but I still use them all...

Mallard on order btw, as my first Grooming dept soap Smile Looking at the release schedule, I fear I’m in for more.

As I have mentioned before, all the vegan soaps will return on October 31st, 11:00AM-PDT.

The vegan formula has garnered fantastic positive feedback for it’s tallow-like post shave feel and the residual slickness of the creamy gel-like lather. I will continue to push the formulas to provide outstanding performance in all areas. There will be no increase in the price of the vegan formula.

I have incorporated Flaxseed Oil & Sacha Inchi extract into the base, both contribute a great deal of Omega-3 Alpha-Linolenic Acid and Vitamin E. They also increase the lubricity of the soap and dramatically enhance the post shave feel.

I look forward your thoughts on what I feel is a phenomenal upgrade to the vegan base.

I can't wait. And I'm looking forward to your new cedar scent as well.

So far,for me there is quite a difference between the vegan base and the tallow/duck base with the nod going to the vegan by a good margin.

Can't wait to try the full on duck fat base that I just ordered to see how it compares.

Just had a wonderful shave with Aether this morning. Grooming Dept has become one of my favorite soaps I have tried, and I have tried close to 300 different soaps. Really looking forward to the release of Wonderland, this scent sounds like a must have and will be waiting patiently, hopefully I am quick enough to snag a tub.

Used Ambrosia this morning and the lather these soaps create are just beyond belief!! The slickness as you keep adding a bit of water to your brush as you are building the lather is just stupendous!! I think I have 8 of these soaps now, 3 duck and beef tallow, 1 full duck and 4 vegan and I only dislike one, Credence. Only for a slight tallow smell but love the lather that it creates. After the Fire shipped to me today so I keep getting more. Best soaps in the shaving industry right now. I own so many soaps by different manufacturers but I keep coming back to Grooming Dept. I used my Rocnel SE-G brushed stainless this morning and had another amazing shave!
