Just finished my first shave with some Grooming Dept. soap. First, let me say that I have never been favorable to Vegan soaps. I always buy the tallow soaps whenever I purchase from any soap vendor that I purchase from. I missed out on the Aether soap because I kept putting it off day after day and then when a light bulb went off and I was going to get it, it was sold out. I then waited another week before I decided to give the Vegan formulas a try after reading very favorable reviews on all the soaps that people have purchased from Mohammed. I bought the Magnolia and Voyage and they were delivered today. I purposely waited to shave this evening because I knew I wanted to try one of these with my Shave. After one shave with Magnolia, this soap has jumped to the top spot in my soap collection over Wholly Kaw (donkey milk formula), Sapone DiPaolo, CRSW, Shannon’s Soaps and Caties Bubbles in that order. This soap from the start had a wonderful smell right when I opened the tub and as many have advised, I did not bloom the soap. I used some of the water that I squeezed out of my brush and then started to load. I loaded for about 20 seconds but I could have stopped after 10. My lather build was almost instantaneous but I went on for about 30-40 seconds just to see how well it would do. I usually would have used one of my Manchurian hair brushes but I wanted to see how well the soap did with a good synthetic. This soap is on another level and I am about to order any other scents that are still available in anticipation of the new duck fat and Vegan soaps available Monday. I will tell you that I don’t get that excited over soaps but this one put a spell on me. This guy is doing some “stuff” in his lab and I suggest you all do not miss out!! This is some special stuff and I can only imagine what the duck fat versions are like if the vegan versions are this good!! Well done sir!! You have a customer for life!! By the way, the pics are after I applied the lather to my face. Forgot to take the pics with the massive amounts of lather before application.

Agree on all the points. I have Aether and even though I like it, wife isn't too happy with having a tallow soap. If you want I can trade for a vegan soap.

Sorry mods if i am breaking any rules here!

Registered just to say I'll be at your website Monday furiously hitting reload. Must have some Ambrosia! Pipe Tobacco and Jasmine are my favorite scents.

Well, actually my favorite smell in the world is blooming Narcissus, but no grooming product I've ever tried has captured the real thing in it's glue/narcotic like hypnotic nature.

I jumped to reply quickly when I saw Narcissus Smile

Narcissus, Heliotrope, Hawthorn, Tagets, Carrot Seed Oil, Angelica and Mate Tea are going are part of scents I'm working for January 2018.

I hope you get to try my soap, thank you for your interest.

No worries, we don’t have very many restrictions here on DFS, and I thought this was a kind offer from you.
