My name is Adrián and i'm a new DFS member... less so to traditional wetshaving (just doing it the wrong way) and with an addiction/obsession out of control in less than 2 months!(my first vintage was purchased on April 13th). I'm herea to learn from all of you guys, specificlly how you control your RAD!
Greeting from Monterrey!
Welcome to the forum Adrian. These guys here will help you spend your money!
I live most of the year in Yucatan, I wish I could find some good vintage shave equipment here, but it is very difficult. Are you able to find vintage equipment there in Monterrey? I would love to find a good Mexican made straight razor.
Cheers!

Well, it's very hard to find vintage equipment here too, and as far as i know, there isn't or wasn't any manufacturer making straight razors here in the country. I need to go back and search for unnoticed treasures in the antiques stores of Monterrey. If i found any good mexican made SR i'll let you know. Also, if you need anything else from the North just ask, maybe some things are easier to get in here since we're kind of close to the border with the US. But for antiques, i guess Ciudad de Mexico it's a better option.

I’ll be very honest with you — I’ve been doing this for a few years now, and my acquisition disorder has never been worse than it is this year. Good luck with yours!
In my case, seem that i find a new Vintage brand and/or razor i like every week. Or found out about a modern SE razor i want. Guess next thing will be shaving brushes and soaps... There's always something new to try and get obsessed about
