Newbie
I started shaving with a DE razor around the beginning of February of 2022. I had been using Schick cartridges for many years (most recently the Hydro 5) and got sick of 1) the clogging (no matter how much I rinse, the spaces between the blades never get fully cleaned out) and 2) the high per-cart price.
My first DE razor was a Van Der Hagen short handle TTO (Gillette Super Speed clone). I have had to learn proper prep and technique, of course, but shaving with a DE razor has turned a nuisance into a hobby (which the LOTH thinks is a liittle weird, but I guess I'm not alone in that).
Anyway, thanks to whoever set up this forum and moderates so we can have a nice community!
