Here is a tip for those that like British tv shows with dry humor.

I remember some has their profile pic as Detective Foyle from 'Foyle's War'. This series, on Netflix, is the gold standard for me. Nothing can match it.

I've started watching 'Father Brown', also on Netflix. It is really funny. It's a Catholic priest that is very good at solving crimes. He's a better crime solver than the police, which irritates them to no end.

Anyway, if you like these type shows, I would highly recommend both of them.

I enjoy Foyle's War but am just not crazy about the Father Brown Mysteries. I prefer Grantchester, which I believe is on Amazon Instant Video.

Watch 'River' if you are into British TV shows (although this one has some American touch).

I have not seen Foyle's War or Father Brown, but one of my favorite British BBC originals over the last couple years has been Peaky Blinders. Fantastic show! Tommy Shelby is a badass! You can find it on Netflix.

Have you seen Broadchurch?  I found it riveting.  There were two seasons with a third one that hasn't reached the U.S. yet.  If you only think of David Tennant as Dr. Who (and the best one, in my opinion) then this series will be a real eye-opener.

(still looking for a TV show that is mentioned here that I haven't watched!

Although, it seems I spend way to much time watching TV shows Sad )

I tried watching Peaky Blinders and saw several episodes but just could not get into it, for some reason. It had come highly recommended from a friend. Perhaps I should give it another go when I have nothing else to watch.

OK, Sourav ... here's my best shot at a show you haven't seen (that is high on my list) : Banshee

Love it.  Outrageous, edgy and with a Quentin Tarantino over-the-top quality.  It's a Cinemax original.

Freddy - stick with Peaky Blinders!  Let the characters develop and the plot thicken Smile
