I can totally get behind a replica that is a duplicate of a rare or hard to fine razor especially if the originals where known to be good shavers like the Tradere which is what Blackland is bringing back or the Gibbs and Gillette Toggle which are also both hard to fine great shaving razors and are being duplicated and maybe improved like the Taiga and Janus for example but there’s just no need or reason for a Fatboy replica that I can think of at this moment in time.

Just my 2 cents
Dragonsbeard - you make a good point about replicas for rare/hard to find razors.

You can get an original in great shape for less and even with a case - if you then replate it it is still less than this replica. It's a descent mild adjustable. Just check out BST as they show up often.

I just noticed this razor and the pictures on their website that they have listed as their functional prototype on the fundraiser page and currently listed on their active web page are directly lifted from one of my etsy sales. I would stay away. https://www.etsy.com/listing/667176331/1...ting&frs=1

Why does this NOT surprise me.  Confused2

These folks have been posting real Gillette razor pics when talking about their replica copies from the start when they talked about their replica Techs (which turned out to be the early version of the Baili BR131). You could do a cease and desist order with them, but they will just find another pic form somewhere else.

I would almost hope they keep my pics so we can show the people most likely to buy on here, wicked edge, B&B, ect that this is a BS product and people should keep their money. I have no doubt that if they even bother to send a razor to the buyers it will turn out to be something like this. https://www.maggardrazors.com/product/mi...ety-razor/
