I also think this is a salvo against Edgewell (Personna) who recently introd multi-blade heads that fit Gillette razors at a previously lower price point. Interesting times as the Giant is roaring.

My Fidelity office overlooks their Boston headquarters. The new blades are being advertised all over...South Station, TD Garden etc. I travel a lot and often use a Mach 3 cart with a Bolin Webb handle. Will try these. The days of traveling with a DE (don’t check in) and searching/mailing blades is long over.

Gillette still makes great DE blades in their St. Pertersburg factory. They own a 65% stake.

Great successful company and a good move on their part.
