I'm wondering if anyone has done a comparison between the Razorock GC .84OC, Jaws .84OC & Muhle R41? In particular I'd like to know if the Jaws .84OC is as aggressive as the Muhle R41 & how does the smoothness compare?

Assuming you mean the 2011 Muhle R41 my experience to date:

Efficiency/aggressiveness: R41 > Jaws > GC 84 OC > GC 84 SB
Smoothness is the opposite: CG 84 SB > GC 84 OC > Jaws > R41 but both the Jaws & OC are very similar in smoothness

I believe you are better off with a Charcoal Goods Level 2 or Timeless 68 (even ATT Windsor Regular plate)

Actually I already have a CG lvl 2.  Looking for & OC as well.  Too bad CG doesn't make OC's any more.  I prefer something with a lower profile than what Timeless has to offer.

shaver69 I agree that a low head profile is a key attribute allowing easier access to the area under the nose and a feature often overlooked by razor manufacturers. The offerings from Timeless and (especially) Merkur are bulky whereas CG and Wolfman are slender and nimble.

Although Brian (CG) no longer offers OC heads I’d suggest you contact him as you never know what he may still have. Also Fendrihan had a (non-CNC) dual comb stainless razor with a very low profile for like $40 which was quite efficient - it’s an under rated and not much reviewed company you may consider.

I have the GC OC .84 and a 2011 R41. NO comparison. The R41 has 100% more blade feel. The GC is a pussycat compared to it. They are both great razors and I enjoy using them both, but sorry, OP, they aren't even in the same league.
