Been wrestling with this boar knot that I put in this brass handle. It’s getting better. But putting up a fight. It’s going to spend another night soaking in the fridge.

Got two packages today. Both of them I could not immediately recollect what the heck they were.  After the wife opened the one then synapsis began to fire. And it came to me. 
The one box arrived much sooner than Aliexpress said it would. My Oumo boar knots have arrived. One is setting up as I write this. On deck for my Christmas Eve shave.
Gotta tell ya right out the gate this feels like a very nice knot. Looking forward to trying it out. The knot in the Brass edition handle may be yanked out and replaced with the second knot.  The other package is a new aftershave that I got myself for Christmas. As I put it on my list for my birthday back in November. And it did not materialize. Upon inspection of said package. My wife says, "that box is identical to one of the things I ordered for you for Christmas".  My retort being that the statute of limitations had run on that list. 
Got my presents for her  wrapped. Now just have to wait and see if I have two bottles of the same aftershave.
