Fitjar Islands

I was sent a sample of Fitjar Islands Slatteroy. I guess they are a small artisan in Norway. Anyone tried their soap? I have a one ounce bar of it, but haven't tried it yet.

I haven't tried any of their products yet, but I think all the reviews I’ve seen (mostly on Against The Grain, and at least one or two here, as well) have been very positive.

I follow them on Instagram. Their shop is the coolest building in the most beautiful surroundings, so I’m sure that alone serves as some great inspiration. In addition to shaving products, they make regular soap for a hotel in their area, which I think is an interesting detail.

Slåtterøy is my favorite cream and aftershave moisturiser. My next pruchase will include their hand soap and possibly body wash. I have finsihed 2-3 tubs of the shave cream.

I have not tried the soap - so happy with the cream. If you order soon and not happy, I check the BST often.

Their creams are outstanding. Better than Esbjerg IMO. Nice scents, not overpowered and excellent performance. Unfortunately not great for my skin, but that is the rule (1 in 20) rather than the exception.
I haven't tried their soaps.

ALI, the DFS search tool should help you with this. Just set it up as shown below. You'll get plenty of information. I really like Fitjar Islands hard soaps. I've never tried the other products. Good luck!

I have tried the Fitjar island stubble softener pre shave and it is excellent! I doubt I will ever shave without it. One not so nice thing about them is the availability. Almost no US retailer stocks them and very very few in Europe. If they were more widely available, I am sure they would be widely used and reviewed !
