I received First Canadian 'Kink' this week, and let me tell ya, this one far exceeded my expectations... credit where it's due.. this blew me away.... it's not a meringue type lather, it will probably seem a little flat to some, but it's thick, glossy, and the performance and slickness are out of this world. Yeah, top tier as far as I'm concerned!

Whats the scent like? My one and only First Canadian soap was a bay rum that didn't smell of anything. It'll take some doing to tempt me back. I get the whole YMMV thing but it smelled like nothing. A person buys bay rum with the reasonable expectation that said product will smell somewhat of bay rum. Anyway, I have lots of soap that both smells as promised and performs very well.

I've only tried the soap with the old label and I think it's very good.
Old: Stearic acid, Tallow Adeps Bovis, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil) , Aqua, Potassium Hydroxide, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), lanolin, Perfume, Silk fibres
New: Aqua, Stearic acid, Adeps Bovis (Tallow), Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil, Butryospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Lanolin, Sodium Lactate, Fragrance, Silk
From what I see, the only differences are the order of the ingredients and the additions of Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil and Sodium Lactate. Oh and the price went from $14 to almost $18.
