Once again, that's not true. Sorry Pete but they do not have a monopoly on stock.

Tryablade, a vendor here, has hundreds in stock, probably more, I can't tell. $3 shipping for all you want.

Maggards, today, has easily 1,500 in stock.  Shipping free over $75.

Stock comes and goes. As I have said before, you get your name on their mailing list and they just email you when it stock.

Maggards has over 1,700 in stock.  Tongue

Good to know that Maggards has it in stock. They were out for a while too.

I stocked up with a master pack when bullgoose had the sale so I haven't been paying attention.

My best guess is that your best bet will be one of the UK shaving companies. Most of them say they can't ship Feather's outside of England, though I would place the order.
Maybe the world has gone haywire but I bought from Connaught pretty recently. $, 28/blade including US shipping for 100.

GloryUprising , based on jmudrick 's post, my thinking would be to watch Cannaught. I checked them today and pricing had increased. Their website may say no shipping to the US, though if you place the order they will probably ship them. While Maggard's has them, they are aren't that much less than OneBlade when you take shipping into account. Shipping for 100 is $.76 per blade with priority mail and $.73 per blade with first class mail.

I ordered 110 of these blades from Maggard today for $77, including tax and shipping. I'm happy.

Interesting, oneblade has changed their price downward. 100 for $89. Maggards is 100 for 70. Shipping is FREE.

I would call a 27% difference in price significant. Maybe not to you but to me it all adds up.

Stock up in two months on Black Friday, another 10% off - based upon history

Gift and Care has a 10% discount

5.45 EU or 55.45 -10% = 49.90 eu or + 5.60 eu shipping = 55.05 ~$63.00

I'm glad you caught the free shipping for Maggard's - I forgot that shipping is free over a certain amount.

My perspective on the FHS 10 blades is that they should be under $.30 per blade without market interference, so getting them for $.70 isn't impressive to me. I would also agree to you that 27% lower pricing adds up. Just as importantly, OneBlade is feeling pressed to lower pricing. My guess is that is being driven by other sources for the FHS 10s, even though they are spotty as well as the de-spined Gems.

What I've come to realize grim is that you and I don't disagree that much on the major points, but rather see things differently in the shades of gray. It's easier for me to reject the FHS 10s because the Gems work very well for me. I recall that you tried them and they didn't work well for you.

Another possibility is the spanish merchant Soloafeitado.com (the website is in spanish and english). They are shipping to Europe (and the USA but in this case, there is no benefit purchasing to them) and they are less expansive than Connaught.

A 10 blades pack of FHS10 amounts 6.25 euros (7 USD). You can ask for a 10% discount. They offer this discount rate on a regular basis to the members of the french forum I subscribe. If they don't, I will find the discount code for you.
