Some you may know that I like to tinker in my basement. And make brushes. Here are five new ones I’ve come up with. I would  like to get everyone’s thoughts.
If you want to, please rate them from your most to least favorite. And if there were any things you would change. Thanks in advance Fluffy

I fancy the Route 66 model the most. I like the smooth transition from the bottom to top. While I'm not a chess player, the shape reminds me of a rook. Or, a British tower. Nice work! Happy2

I like the look of Hexagon. Im usually a fan of shorter handles, and there's something about the added hex nut that makes it unique.

I really like that Hexagon, love the industrial inspired design. I’m also a sucker for copper and brass. Great work!

I’ve been meaning to jump in and tell you way to go on the new handles/designs. I think it’s super cool that you’ve found a way to make a handle out of a non-traditional material. Ingenious. Well done Mr. Fluffy!

PS. Have you thought about forcing a patina on one? That might turn out cool.

The positive feedback means quite a bit coming from you Paul.  My thought process on things like this is a direct result of my father, grandfather and great grandfather.
My great grandfather was a life long farmer. My grandfather grew up on the farm during the depression. So he passed on his problem solving skills to my father. And him to me.
Look at what you have on hand. Figure out how to make something you need. Out of something you already have.
I had some fittings in the basement. And for some reason as I was moving some stuff around. I must have been thinking about brush handles. That's how this whole tangent started.
The most interesting thing so far has been the ones that I thought would be the most "popular" have not really been.
I have been wanting to turn some wood ones. But the lathe is over at my folks house and they are older and with the mysterious ailment  that comes from nobody knows where. Or possibly another dimension.  I am just not willing to risk exposing them.
Hope your weekend is going well.

Fluffy Ken, that is a wonderful bit of family history. And a great example of how our country works. Thank you for telling us!
