I got some Tabac shaving soap. I've never used it, so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

Today's arrivals

[Image: UEy39Lm.jpg]

After first smell, the Midnight Stag will not be staying in the den.

Was not expecting these.  It was a gift from a member on another forum.  Will definitely be paying it forward.

Also, I must say the Tabac smells pretty similar to the Leviathan.

Received what I think is a rather neat, vintage shaving scuttle.
Set me back about $35-40 dollars but I really like the look and size of it.

Here with an SOC brush to provide a sense of scale:

Received two lots from the same seller...combined cost just shy of $35;

1) The ugliest scuttle I've seen. This by Col Conk.
[Image: ivegc0.jpg]

2) An almost as uninteresting mug by Col Conk...I think I got two..or three now...

3) It gets better...two plastic combs.

4) But hey - something that actually looks useful!
I've never met a Col Conk brush that I've liked but these two Pure Badger ones actually seem rather good. Soft, good backbone, comfortable handles - not bad.

Finally to why I spent the money - two NIB Merkur MII's.
In colors I don't have - polished silver and gold.
