Great to hear that all of you are enjoying your shaver. I didn't have much luck with it, unfortunately, even trying it twice and the AS-D1, once.
Maybe, I should give it another chance.

I will get mine from a local member on Sunday. I hope it works out for me too. Did you find it too mild for you?

I've had the AS-D1 which was impossible to shave with. The D2 was much better and a very comfortable but surprisingly I was able to nick myself pretty well. I thought it was a fine shaver though. Great craftsmanship

Used mine for months and months on end and was happy.
Occasionally I would divert for a week here and there. Always returned to the AS D2.

After getting a Wolfman, and being so used to the Feather I found the Wolfman a touch aggressive at first. After a handful of shaves I quickly adjusted my technique to the Wolfman. Used that for quite some time for most every shave.

Revisited my Feather and was shocked. How quickly my form had changed. I was having issues getting a decent shave.

By the second and third day I was back in the groove and getting perfect shaves from the Feather.

It has it's sweet spot and once found will reward with close, comfortable, and consistently safe shaves.

Going to take it slow when I rotate back to the Wolfman next week. It's much more efficient and I feel just as safe, but with a much more pronounced blade feel. Reminds me to pay attention.

This has been my travel razor for about two years, enough said. I just changed the stock handle to a new Triad handle and it performs even better with the added weight.
