Hey guys I hope all is well, I am steadily growing to be a lover of aftershave splashes. I will always have the Balm and Shea Butter around but I want to experiment a little more with aftershaves. I live in England and from what I can see we have a very limited range compared to a lot of you US guys.

What splashes would you recommend that you know are in the UK?

I am already a fan of Myrsol, Fine and Kramperts Frostbite.

DapperDragon thanks for the reply,

I have tried Floid, I forgot to mention that. I am a fan of Vigoroso.

I haven't tried Speick which is definately an option.

I would love to hear thoughts from anyone on Pitralon and what the best Lime aftershave is, TOBS 74 Victorian Limes gets mentioned quite abit.

Hi Oli, as I read through the posts my first thought was Pitralon- I have only tried the Swiss and the Pure but I like them both. Nice clean scents and they both are very "bracing" [read: beaucoup alchohol!].

I used Swiss this morning in fact!

PS saw you were looking for Lime; have you checked out the Royall Lyme?

D.R. Harris splashes are high in quality, IMO. Perhaps Pink, or Sandalwood, or Bay Rum, will strike your fancy.

WindsorCitrus I would look at the Mandarin from Royall as well knowing that we both like the citrus!

Expanded thoughts:

The Pitralon Swiss and Pure share a similar scent to my nose. The main difference is the Pure seems to have more alcohol in the mix [I received both a while back; order the Swiss, get the Pure free]. They both seem "fruit forward" at the start with a bit of pear and some citrus then settle down to a more prominent cedar scent. I like them a great deal; the skin feel is superb, dries down nicely and leave me feeling great post shave.

I have had a look at these and they look really nice I like the sound of the Lyme and Manderin although they only appear to be in the US. I can't ship them to the UK Sad

I completely forgot it is manufactured stateside now, not in Bermuda. Did a quick check and looks like Amazon UK has it available, bit of a premium over regular pricing it seems though.
