Kaya (coconut jam) on bread or crackers is a favourite snack for me, or at least when I can find some of the stuff!

When it rains it pours; our local Costco had the Sea Salt Eat Your Veggies in stock. Thanks much Brian- I am hooked!

churchilllafemme some time back I took some Medjool dates, stuffed with Marcona almonds then wrapped in bacon. Baked for ~25m at 350F. Hmm, hmm good!

That sounds really good. Unfortunately, my better half no longer allows bacon consumption, due to concerns about links of processed meats to cancer risk.

Totally get it... we get uncured bacon at Wholefoods. Niman Ranch is another store brand that uses celery juice etc. rather than nitrates/nitrites as well.

celestino I love mixing sweet/spicy or savory/sweet and some different textures. Another favorite is black figs, bleu cheese and a drizzle of honey. Takes all of 5 minutes and you have a cool little snack!

I love fresh figs, but try to find them at any time of the year in Maine. No way!

My wife will whip up some homemade whip cream and get a bunch of fresh fruit. We will either mix it all together or just scoop it out with the fruit.

I also love Wasabi peas or a good Wasabi mix. Also don't have to worry of anyone else in the house stealing my snack! Big Grin

Those look delicious Kevin! I'm also a big fan of the sweet/savory combo.
