Favorite DE Handles (with Pics)

I mentioned in an earlier post my penchant for the BBS-1 handle that the Russian Tibam emulated when shavers couldn't get them anymore. Well, I solved that first world dilemma. A talented machinist made 3 of them with stands for me in Copper, steel and brass. He also does work in Ti. I am excited to have them and will be posting my shaves with them soon. TC, Gorgeous !! The handles that is but I still say you'd make a good "Hand Model"

For me, the Blackbird handle is quite beautiful and one of the best grips in a handle that I've ever used. 
However, I think the version of the Aristocrat handle that Stork made might be my favourite aesthetically. 
I believe it's their Aristocrat 2 handle. I have both the 1 and 2 versions in titanium, but prefer the latter. 
No need for pics of the Blackbird as everyone is very familiar with it.

Really hope Timeless will be restocking the Crown handle(in Ti) at some point soon! Great looking and seems like the perfect size, with excellent grip from all reports.

A few years ago marked a period of time where you could get some amazing handles from aftermarket sellers such as Stork and Tibam. Unfortunately, I don't think they are around anymore. I've migrated to titanium handles on non-titanium heads and the Stork Consul and Timeless Crown have been my main handles. I think checkering or knurling are the way to go for handles to keep the razor secure in your hand. The Consul is perfect. The Crown is semi-perfect - you may see knurling but that handle is smooth to the touch and uses the shape of the handle for grip vs. engraved knurling. It works but its not as good for grip. I have a Razorock Bamboo handle, Merkur 1904 handle, and Timeless Spiral handle that uses the shape of the handle for grip and they don't do a good job - they are just so slick. The Wolfman WRH1 is also a good handle. I love the look of the larger pyramid checkering vs. the normal fine texturing that you see out there (like on a 34c) for instance. Picture of the Stork below. I have the one of the left and originally it felt so needley that I was worried I would hate it but the tops of the small engravings smoothed out (no idea how as I did nothing). Awesome handle!

That is also a Stork - he made 2 versions of the Consul handle but didn't name them different like v1 or v2. They are just both called Consul.
