Stirling Executive Man is the only Aventus clone I've tried and it's my favorite aftershave. I actually had it on once when I was in a Creed store and I could hardly tell the two apart. My wife was impressed too. I might try Gingers Garden's version some day and see how it compares, but i will definitely replace Executive Man when the time comes.
Beaver WoodWright Captain’s Reserve
I’ll admit that I haven’t tried Aventus itself, but this aftershave is simply incredible, to me at least. I’m sad that it was a Shave Revolution special, and that webstore no longer exists…
Since Floïd ”Black” was mentioned, I love that one too, I just wish it were more stable — it starts out very strong, but then fades quickly. Captain’s Reserve lasts much longer. Also, I don’t find these two exactly alike. Captain’s Reserve has more of a cologne component to the scent, whereas in ”Black” the pineapple is more pronounced.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I'm a big fan of executive man as well.
