Generally speaking, of the products I've used, I will have to say that Barrister & Mann has the market cornered in both aspects when considered together. That being said, for a non-B&M scent give me RazoRock Zi' Peppino in B&M white label or Glissant base. Both perform equally well for me.

So B&M + B&M

With Mystic waters post shave.... That would be perfect.

I believe LGC was the first soap offered in the Glissant base. I think there was a slight modification for subsequent Glissant-soaps (an oil substitution), but it's in the Glissant base.

I didn't notice any real difference between LGC and the recent Rhapsody release.... For me LGC is the tops for scent at the moment.....

Will Barrister_N_Mann, care to chime in?

Just this weekend I combined Stirling's Bonaoarte with Ben Franklin and then combined that with B&M's Roam for an unbelievably manly super lather. Smells as complex as you would imagine, if you have tried all of those scents. At Hobbyist's suggestion, I am going to try it again in a few days but this time also add a citrus (limon or iced pineapple) scent from one of these Artisans. Thinking also about topping it off this time with Clubman Special Reserve AS + Quorum EdT Idea

I love experimenting with soaps and aftershaves like this Happy2

That is a hard question, I think I would go for:

Base: Mystic Waters
Scent: CRSW Citrus

However my favourite scent of all time so far is a custom soap by Dapper Dragon of Almond and Raspberry but in the interest of talking scents we all know I will go with the above choice Smile

If Michelle would go back to not adding lanolin to her Irish Traveler soap (Creed Green Irish Tweed) I'd be happy. I would like every scent profile in her Sensitive Skin base as well.

For me it would be every artisan scents in either B&M, CRSW Select V2 or Mike's Natural Base.

The scents I would love on any of these 3 bases are:

Aventus Type scent (as in Razorock Freedberg)
Dr Jon's Hydra
PAA CAD
Razorock XXX (Aqua di Parma)
Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber

Saponificio Varesino Felce Aromatic is great for both performance and scent and I love the Vabora C&S fragrances.
