Faux Ivory brush handle materials

I'm almost sure that there are others like me .
Those who appreciate the classic looks of the "faux-ivory" shaving brush handles and just love that creamy soft white color



But ,to the point ...

From time to time different materials have been used as substitutes to ivory .
From vintage  Catalin ( a type of bakelite ) used from 1930's to 1950's ( and gave birth to "butterscotch handles" ) to modern acrylic or epoxy resins .
Still ,to my surprise ,there are not any shaving brush handles made out of the material that mimics ivory the best .
No matter how much i've searched the web ,I was unable to find a single brush handle made out of this particular material .
It seems that it has"escaped" from the notice of all the shaving brush manufacturers .Artisans included .

The material I'm referring to is called " Elforyn Super Tusk "

I have a straight with Super Tusk scales. It's really cool looking. If I didn't already own so many ivory colored brushes, I'd definitely get a handle made from it.

I can try. It's hard to see the detail in a pic, but it looks great in hand.

I can't get a good pic without a macro lens. It just looks like solid ivory. But it has a grain pattern like those pics above.

Rudy Vey uses a material much like what you posted OP. If you search on his vendor page on badger and blade.com you will find it.

I would jump on a brush like this.

I have a Doug Korn made from a material that looks like it. It is amazing and remains a favorite. The grain is beautiful.
