The original First Canadian soaps had silk fibres, according to the ingredients list (and lid).
This (Anointment) is a local brand that I bought at the Farmers Market. Those darks spots are chunks of flax seeds. Big chunks.
I don't know what they were thinking, and I wonder if they had anybody test it by actually shaving with it.
They also used the flax chunks in some of their bath bars, for exfoliation, I guess. It also came with a boar brush, one of those awful little ones you can buy on Alibaba for a dollar a pound.
Otherwise it was an okay and fairly slick soap.
