I've read he used Mysore EO for the sandalwood. Sandalwood really is fantastic. I have all three of the top runners and I would give a slight edge to sandalwood over Fougere. Rosa Bourbon is a close third.

Thanks gentlemen. Does the Sandalwood have any sweetness or is dry and earthy? Whiskey Sour
Oasisdave I love the smell of a good rose scent!

I have all three but only samples of the Rose and Sandalwood. And while the Rose is a nice smelling rose scent I'm just not into floral scents, only ones I've held onto are Bois Flouraux and Foresta di Rosa and I'm thinking about putting the latter up for trade.
The Sandalwood does have a sweetness to it, It's just hands down the best Sandalwood I've ever smelled, even better than AOS and CRSW in my opinion. The Fougere would be my second favorite of these three and is one of my favorite fougeres.

zaclikestoshave I agree with Oasisdave. I would describe the sandalwood as sweet and creamy. It is not earthy.
