I usually make 80 lbs but this last time I made 200lbs and honestly didn’t give the curing time a thought so it’s kinda put me behind schedule on making some of the scents I have to make both new and old but I’ll say when it’s ready I’m going to go at it like the Flash!

So I’ve been focusing on a few things. One as you know is refill my inventory of Roll Up Shave Sticks. That’s complete.

The other is getting some new skin and a couple of hair and body products completed.

So one of the new Collections is the “ Midori Collection “ which is based on the use of Japanese Rice Water. Rice water by itself is very good for both skin and hair and I will get into more details on each of the products in the collection . For starters and this one is a multi tasker. It a Rice Water Spritz. How it relates to wet shaving is this is a awesome primer for any post shave product especially a serum as not only does it make applying and spreading the serum much easier it will not only help as a catalyst to drive the benefits of the Serum deeper but it has a lot of its own unique benefits and is very high in proteins. This also works with Lotions, Creams and even an Aftershave splash. It has a great effect on hair health and it also is an awesome primer for the Body oil. I’ve tested it but also have a local Spa &Salon testing it and so far the feedback has been very positive. There will be a Body Wash, a Shampoo and Conditioner to start this journey of but I’ll add this will be added to the water phase of the Shave soap last minute water based ingredients I add like the EOS Complex for example.

Here is the Spritz bottle image but it’s showing with a shinny sprayer but it’s a matte finished Brushed aluminum sprayer in reality. My graphic designer made a mistake but you get the picture. This is a 4 oz glass bottle  but in the future I’ll make a bigger refill

This will be the Collection Image on the homepage of the website.

Next up is something I’ve been working on and is something I personally have been using and testing and I have a couple of customers that have been using it and testing it as well. I’ve gotten very good feedback on it but they don’t have the latest version as I left out some of the very important skin beneficial ingredients out as I wanted to see how well the fundamental ingredients work.  This is a healing Magnesium Crème and it also has multiple benefits I’ll be describing more in depth when it’s just about ready for release. I’ll also be making a spray in this Collection. Here’s the Top Label and it’s in a 200 ml jar which comes out to 6.76 oz so a good hefty amount in the jar

Remember Skin care is very related to wet shaving!

Thank you for your support!

I have been lucky enough to get a custom Magna Creme from Frank and my achy joint does feel better when I consistently use it.  Prior to it, I was on a high dose of Voltaren gel (topical, not the 1% you get in the US but 2.5% you can get in Europe OTC) for the problem area.  Now I have not taken an NSAID in a month and use this daily.  For me, it works very well.

Let me say I’m not a medical doctor and this is not medical advice but for my situation, I get noticeable relief from it.

An Mike you had the basic formula with just the fundamentals in it. Can’t wait till you try the full formula version.

Thank you for the feedback

A little update on the progress in the I Coloniali project. I know two things as of right now. One the woody scent in the blend is absolutely a Sandalwood and it’s not real Sandalwood and I had a hunch as back then when this soap was made the two most common wood notes by far were Sandalwood and Cederwood. I’m also almost positive that the cooling ingredient is Methyl Salicylate which is a somewhat sweet Wintergreen scent most used in breath mints and toothpaste. I ordered some and will start to mess with it in the blend.

Nice Frank and I definitely think it's a wintergreen too. The hound is on the trail !

Awesome SOTD Dave! I’ll have to pull my WM out but today it decided to get really cold again. Let’s hope that March does its normal come in like a Lion and leave like a Lamb thing as I’m really tired of the cold weather.

While sandal and cedar are undoubtedly on the list, the main challenge imho on the woody side is guaiac wood: find the right one and you'll be halfway there.
Update: samples are finally in Slovenia.
Buon lavoro Frank!
