Thank you for the kind words.  It was my first custom commissioned directly from Aldo - he crushed the pour and the knot, an 29mm HD Hybrid, is near perfection.

Tears of the Dragon arrived just in time for my Christmas shave.  Frank, you have once again produced a treasure.  Nobody does rose like you, and adding rose to your iconic Dragonsbeard created an extraordinary scent.  I am not surprised it is sold out.  Your last three new releases (Russian Tea, Never Sleeps and Tears of the Dragon) are fantastic!!

Thank you for the kind and encouraging words. Much appreciated. I’m glad you like the Tears of a Dragon Aroma along with the Russian Tea and Never Sleeps. It’s been a little hectic the last 2 months life wise for Annette and myself but we got through it and although late to the party we got these releases along with Noel made before the Holidays.
I’ve been wanting to make the Tears of a Dragon for over a year and it finally came together. In my own opinion I think with the addition of the two different Rose Absolutes, the Oud at higher levels in the blend along with the addition of a little shot of the Patchouli Absolute and Pink Peppercorn gave it more legs, more depth and as you mentioned the Rose came to the top and I will say working with a lot of natural aromatics I’d put Rose in the top 5 and for sure top 10 as far as scent strength amongst all Essential Oils and Absolutes. When using it the complete work area is filled with the scent of Rose.

UPDATE: 


Ok so I have a situation that I have to make everyone aware of.  So as most know we created and sent links to those individuals who were on the list for the Limited Edition Tears of a Dragon. Well I don't know who but someone shared the link with 3 other people who got orders in. We were so busy and orders were coming in so fast it wasn't noticed. The folks that were originally on the list got theirs for sure as those went out before the official release of all the Tears of a Dragon on Saturday morning. So at the time their were 3 leftover from the 17 I had so I told my website developer to add them to the two other size jars as a 3rd variant and when they are gone their gone. So because of the sharing I know have 3 more orders than I have Black Glass jars! So the people who ordered these of which 2 are regular and good customers I can't let them down, cancel their order as I know that at least 2 of the 3 weren't aware of the situation. So this morning I got on the phone with the company that I get the black glass jars from and because of their policy I had to order a bulk batch which I don't really need now as the next release where I use them is in October when we release V6 of the Dragonsbeard. They are coming from CA to NY so even though their shipping them today as a favor it still will take a few days to get to me SOOOOO..... for the 3 people that ordered the Limited Edition it will take some extra days for your orders to go out.  I have some of the smaller sizes left or should I say I saved some to fill these 3 jars coming in. After I do I suspect I'll have some left so anyone that missed out on The Tears of a Dragon I will post up when they go up on the website. I don't want to take any requests to save them as I don't know how many I'll have after I fill the glass jars. 

I talked to my website developer as well as one of my vendors and their suggestion to avoid this situation from repeating itself again is to do a pre sale on limited edition products.. Any thoughts my friends? 

I have to admit I was a little upset when we first discovered this but as I said before I'm not sure that the folks that got their orders in on this knew what was going on and in fact all of them placed more than one order in a 2 day period so I'm pretty certain this was not done maliciously. 

Anyway I thought it best to post this up. 

Hope you all had a great Holiday! I had a very nice one with my son being home but today finds me about 5 lbs heavier from all the good food and sweets. 

Loving Noel. Perfectly balanced. Mostly a rounded milk chocolate note with some vanilla and a light topping of peppermint. Perfect balance if you ask me
