Is it okay to mix your soaps?
I would like to mix Rosa with Dragon Beard and
and if I end up getting Peppermint, I'd like to mix it with Vanila Safi.
Are there any health risks to mixing them?

Absolutely and I encourage it. I’ve mixed Rosa with Dragonsbeard and I really like it. The Rose Absolute is already in the DB so by increasing it by about 60/40 it becomes a Rose Oud type scent and with a lot less Rose then it’s more of a Oud Rose if that makes sense.

Peppermint and Vanilla are great together and in fact there’s not to many natural aromas that don’t hit it off with Vanilla.

So have fun and become a Mixologist!

Best wishes

Frank

Brother I have a GP20 scuttle sitting filled to the brim with a frankensoap made of like 30 different samples from a bunch of different brands. Shaved plenty with it. No issues.

I had a frankensoap bowl full of many mixed soaps a long time ago as well. An that’s a nice scuttle you have there I miss my extra large Dirty Bird scuttle I lost in the fire. Irreplaceable and great on a cold winters day to get a nice old school hot shave.

Hello Gentlemen

I hope your holiday weekend was a good one!

Well I was a little bored so I went to the warehouse and I played and came up with this aroma blend. I’m thinking about doing this sometime this winter. It’s a complex scent and I’m going to list some of the aromatics in it below. I’d like some feedback so anyone that has an order in or places one will get a spray sample until it’s gone. I have to ship to as an example both Dave in KY and cigarman who both sent me razors to try and dtownvino who has a custom order to that’s going to ship out to I’m going to send samples of this blend for some feedback. I’ll say it’s kinda boozy, woody and it’s got some good silage. I’d say it’s at a cologne level but very easily can be taken to a EDP level with a higher concentration of the aromatics. Like I said this is in the beginning stages of development and my helper says she thinks I hit on something special.

Here’s just a few of the Aroma ingredients. Tobacco absolute ( Barley version) Green Cognac absolute, Homemade Vanilla Extract, Tonka Bean absolute, 1960 Mysore Sandalwood oil, Amber EO, Benzoin extract, Peru of Balsam, Haitian Vetiver, Cedarwood Himalayan EO, Bulgarian Rose Absolute, Calabrian Bergamot & Blood Orange citrus EO’s, Cambodian Oud, Red Raspberry Distillate.

My helper Annette says it looks beautiful.  Girls.  Rolleyes

So I can’t wait to hear what some of you guys
Think on this one.

I had a little fun as always with the photo and don’t look at the short spray tube it was just laying around so I grabbed to test the scent.
