A little update. The Dragonsbeard, Peppermint, Greenfresh and another batch of Lavender I had to squeeze in as I’m down to two jars left after I fill the orders I currently have so all 4 are about 3 weeks away from release. Got quite a few people on the pre order list for the Dragonsbeard so I made an extra 24 more jars than I was gonna make originally.

No problem! and a good question that I’d like to throughly explain in more detail.

The Aroma ingredients in the blend are Agarwood EO, Oud Resin, East Indian Sandalwood EO, Amber fossilized EO,, Tonka Bean buttter, Madagascar Vanilla Bean oil that I made myself through an 8 month infusion technique I used along with Rose absolute EO.

Before anyone asks the two question that i would ask, I’ll answer them without divulging how I make this blend.
Question: Is the scent natural?
Answer.: Yes there are no aroma chemicals in the blend and if there were I’d disclose that information.
Question: How can you sell a shave soap with those ingredients for only $52.00?
Answers:
a. To keep It simple without telling the whole story, lets just say I acquired a couple of extremely expensive ingredients at a very reasonable price or it would be impossible and the soap would be considerably more expensive!
B. Also I made the blend myself and without giving away my formula the way the blend was made also helped keep the price down.


This V2 blend is all natural and it smells better than the original blend which had two aroma chemicals in it that have been replaced with the natural essential oils. Trust me the scent is still very recognizable as the main players are still the same as the aroma chemicals I used back then in the first version played a small part in the total aroma.

A lot of time and patience went into making this blend. Making the soap is the easy part. So the the time it takes to make the blend is the main reason this will be limited to a once a year release and priced according to market prices on the aroma ingredients at that time.

As I’ve stated many times before and will be posted on my website I price all ETHOS Grooming Essentials products according to what’s in them and current market prices on the ingredients used in them. As far as aromas I will tell my customers when I use all natural aroma ingredients like the Lavender Supreme for example or when it’s a blend of both naturals and aroma chemicals like with the Pineapple Noir scent in the Succes products.

So I hope that explains the aroma profile of the soon to be released Dragonsbeard products.
