ETHOS Lavender Suprême~~Simpson D3~~RazoRock GC/Feather
Once again, bowl-lathered. Soaked, but well wrung-out brush.
After 90 seconds:

After another 60 seconds and breach-clearing:

Final product:

Seriously, total H2O added was no more than three-four drops!
The dampness of the bristles almost suffices.

Personally find adding more water, quite slowly as you suggest, works best with Lavender BUT for all the other ETHOS soaps, lather exactly as you describe. Not sure why Lavender so different for me; although have a rotation of artisan brushes, yet maintain a couple Simpson Manchurian and Silvertip. Maybe the water??

Ethos Agrumes

Slow hydration utilized - probably 5 teaspoons
Hand lather on the load /protolather build : and then to the face, painting with tip dipping, and final stage - some linear agitation with the brush on the face. Enough for 5 passes

Since I started using Ethos, I've found it hard to go back to other soaps. Residual slickness, protection, and post shave are unmatched for me. Still, I have a confession, and I'm sorry Frank, but I load from the tub lol. The scoop is nice, but I hand lather and shave in the shower, so it's just easier to get in with a loaded brush.

I can easily load the Lavender Suprême directly from the jar. It's the Succès that is too soft to do so.

I’m pretty sure it’s the Pineapple fruit power that softened up the Success so when I make the next batch I’m going to substitute some of the Shea butter with some Mango butter and that should harden it up a bit so you’ll have no problem loading from the jar.. even though I’m not encouraging it! Lol

Great shaves my friend!

The EOS complex is a proprietary mixture of natural substance to improve skin quality. I believe there is about 30 natural products in it.

Frank, how far away are you from Dragons Beard Beta, soap and splash?
