ETHOS Succès~~Simpson CH3 Best Badger~~Gillette Tech #44/Polsilver
Great lather today with the 50 year-old badger brush.
Here's my process:

A very small amount of soap and relatively little H2O creates oodles of fantastic lather. The shave was outstanding and, of course, the scent is very pleasing.

Great vintage brush and now and then you just gotta pull out the Vintage Gillette Tech with a brand new sharp blade in it for a nice daily shave.
Nice case on that Tech to.

Thanks, Frank.
Scored that NOS Tech with the original mailer. Everything was still wrapped in the original plastic film. The brush came to me from a great member here at DFS. The Best Badger hair of the 70's completely outshines what masquerades as "Best" badger today.

Nice acquisitions my friend! Razor and Brush!

I’m glad your enjoying them instead of keeping them in a display case.

Quite well. In fact it was a reminder of me how I shaved over a decade ago. I got a nice proto lather started, wiped my lather hand on my wet face, and faced lathered as usual. I need to make sure i use a large enough dollop. I am curios how primo starts with a very little water. Going to try that tomorrow using the hand instead of a bowl. Great slick lather though. C u all tomorrow with another lather report!

When I begin the swirling, there is a great deal of friction, or resistance. I add just enough water to release the friction. It really amount to only a drop or two. There is a moment when you realize the lather is developing on its own. I continue for a bit, then clear the knot, add a minute amount of water and proceed. The dampened badger hair is almost sufficient enough on its own.

Apologies if I have missed it but have there been any reviews or opinions on the alcohol free hyalauronic acid product with EOS complex in it? I forget the name... Replenish maybe?

Yes, Replenish – Restorative 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I have not tried it, but I am interested in trying.

Been using a sample of the hyaluronic acid - it is fantastic! Also use it the following day irrespective of shaving.

I've been using Replenish for a few weeks now, and it is a great product. It's taken the top spot in my post shave routine, and as Dan says, I have also been using it on days that I don't shave due to how it makes my skin feel.
