ETHOS Grooming Essentials A New Line

When first using the stick there was residual on the cover (and being absolutely transparent didn’t even notice its presence). Needless to state, the second application made it apparent something was blocking the pre shave. It helps if one relies on the incompressibility of the pre shave to lift the cover off; simply dial up stick to lift the protective cover, otherwise one will need a knife to pry it off. Damned thing is quite robust, built to ETHOS standards, haha

Dan you had the small tester. I'm sure when you get the full sized it will be much easier just follow the instructions in my last post. It's really very easy.

Reméde Revitalizing Serum 




Well they are finally ready for release. I’ve been working on putting these together and the bottles are filled, labels on and photos for the website are taken so as of Monday they will be available for purchase.

I’m not sure how many post shave serums there are out there but mostly what I’ve seen is one formula for all skin types but it is my belief that no one formula is right for every skin type so I’ve been doing my research on the subject for a while now and have come up with 4 formulas soon to be a 5th formula to address what most cosmetic experts and dermatologist consider are the 5 skin types. As you can see from the photo below no two serums are the same color as different natural oils are used in each formula and at different levels.

The 4 current Remède formulas address all but problematic skin types and that formula is only a couple of weeks away from release as the formula took more research than the others.



As with all ETHOS products prices will be based on what is in each formula and the current market prices for the ingredients used in each formula. Prices will be posted on the website. The Unscented formulas are one of two prices and an extra charge is added for aroma blends and again is based on what aroma ingredients are used and the market price.  A couple of examples would be if a customer chooses the Dry Skin Formula and would like the Grapefruit & Peppermint EO blend them it would cost less than if they chose the East Indian Sandalwood & Sweet Orange blend as the market price for authentic East Indian Sandalwood is expensive but Sweet Orange EO is reasonably priced so it helps keep the price down on the blend whereas if straight East Indian Sandalwood oil were chosen it would bring the price up So special blends and prices will be discussed with the individual customer on a one to one basis. 

A list of ingredients for each formula will be post on the website.

Useage: The Serums can be used anytime day or night and by male or female and suggested to be used on the whole face or areas where the face needs special attention.  When using as a post shave product myself and testers have found a few drops rubbed into the palms of the hands or fingertips and then distributed on all the areas shaved on damp skin works best. I’ve also found it works great as a base when using an Aftershave Skin Food Splash. Some testers preferred using it after using the Skin Food splash so I guess you’d have to find what works best for you as grooming rituals vary from individual to individual or so it seems in my experience talking to all my Shaving friends and customers. 

Oh almost forgot you can opt out of a Skin Food splash as your free sample that’s provided with each shave soap purchase and substitute it for a Unscented post shave serum if you like just make sure to request it in a added note when ordering.

Have been refining software and hardware for many years to find the products most suited to my damaged and highly sensative skin. While I have definitely improved shaving to a much better experience than ever before, am glad to find a manufacturer laser focused on dealing with the range of different skin issues men face. 

Looking forward to trying the sensative skin formula ASAP and can only imagine how much of an improvement it will make based on the positive experience with ETHOS products to date!

Excited for this new release. Very smart idea to have serums for different skin types. I’m actually surprised we haven’t seen this idea before from a vendor. Excited to try it out!

I’m sorry to inform you that the website won’t be live today. There is still more work to do on it but we hope to have it up as soon as later in the week.
