Hi Frank,
I picked up some Thayer's today. After shaving, washing off the soap, and drying off, I applied this all over my face. I then applied the skin food to the shaved beard area after the Thayer's dried a bit. It worked well tonight and I will try to use Thayer's in the same manner for all shaves over the next couple weeks to monitor results. Does Thayer's help to neutralize the left over soap?

I use the non astringent Thayers and keep mine in the fridge. I splash it on then clean my gear and when my face is still a little damp is when I use a good sized splash of the Skin Food Splash. glad it’s working for you and I would give the non astringent version a try. You May find if works even better

Thank you Dan. I must say I have a problem buying brushes, I have 2 new handles without knots set and one more handle ordered. I posted a thread looking for information about shavemac 2band silvertip but no info yet.
Happy shaves

Well I have had Ethos now for about 2 weeks or so. I wanted to use it for a little bit before I gave any thoughts about it. I have now used it 3 or 4 times so I think I have a good feel for it. It lathers up easily and makes an abundance of lather that has great cushion and is very slick. The residual slickness is great also. After the shave my face is left feeling soft and moist. I will say for me this is one of the best soaps in my den and that includes DG, GD, WK, AE and others. The pineapple noir scent is probably my favorite scent of all my soaps and the edp makes it where I can enjoy it all day. Frank has hit a homerun with all I have used. I can't wait for the 4 grapefruit scent to be made because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE GRAPEFRUIT SCENTS. This morning's shave was as good as it gets and Frank also introduced me to and sold me the Gibbs. Which by the way for me is the BEST RAZOR I HAVE EVER USED. Thank you buddy and keep up the great work but also get some rest sometimes.
Happy shaves to all
