Greg, that is hilarious-love it. I'm really not a big fan of 'lather shots', because it is after all the performance of the lather that counts and much less so how it looks. It's just that with a new soap, I experiment with different combinations of brushes, hydration.

Tonight I test lathered the Ethos Lavender with a brush with which I have a love-hate relationship, the Declaration Grooming Franklin Batch 2. It's dense, it's huge, and it's a lather hog.

I was surprised with the ease with which it produced a quality lather. As many of the big and dense badgers I have, agitating on the face is a real challenge for me as those brushes just eat lather.

Anyway, here's some more gratuitous lather shots Smile

UPDATE:

So just a heads up. I got some new bags and some small plastic bags for the samples so things don’t get lost in the crinkle cut paper.
Here’s a shot of a package I sent out today with the new bags. BTW those are organza bags as I could not find the burlap ones in the size I need. At least you can see through them.
I also have the exact set up in Ivory color for the lavender and Unscented so don’t be surprised if it isn’t all black inside your box. Lol

Hi all,  does anybody have the ingredient list for the Ethos shaving soap?  I'm very intrigued by it and hope it is lanolin-free!  thanks and stay safe

Hello sir unfortunately there is a small amount of lanolin in this base but I’m working on another one that won’t have any in and then a vegan base towards the fall which should be very interesting. Lanolin is a great natural ingredient but not everyone can tolerate it so I hope to have bases that Pretty much work for anyone.

Thank you for the inquire!

Trying to keep powder dry for a truly comprehensive review that suspect will have some impact.

My skin is extremely sensitive and incredibly damaged from physical trauma. Lanolin is one of a very few substances that will result in instant response. For example, Mitchell’s Wool Fat is so irritating literally have to wash it off before even fully lathered and ingest diphenhydramine.

Used Ethos for first time this weekend: there was ZERO tingling, ZERO redness, ZERO postshave outbreaks: NONE.

Of course, you may be even more sensitive but doubt it. Mine is a face from ‘The Princess Bride’, specifically when they describe “to the pain”.
