Enjoying a glass or two!

What are you enjoying tonight? Wine, beer, spirit or a simple soft drink?

I am enjoying a very nice bottle of Chronic Cellars Sofa King Bueno.

It has the most incredible colour and is very smooth. Great Wine altogether.

Hmm, now that you brought it up, I may have to have a glass of some Canadian Club 12 year small batch. Nothing too fancy, but a good local Rye nonetheless.

I'm currently imbibing in a mix of my own devising. A  finger of dark rum and 1/2 a finger of Blackmaker which is an herbal, rootbeeryish sort of liquor. But it's better than root beer IMO. It's too sweet on it's own, and I didn't feel like straight rum. It's fairly potent, in the same league as a Manhattan.

Just getting over a mild case of the flu so it's been nothing but fruit juice or water to stay hydrated. A glass of red wine with dinner would have been lovely but, alas, it shall have to wait for healthier times.

Oli, I had Rhetoric on the Rock.

I have indulged in a Cloudy Lemon (Pear) Cider which is the sort of thing my missus likes. It's ok but I wouldn't recommend it. The lemon and pear don't really go.
