With Andrew's Okay I am starting a pass a round for the EndGem 3D printed Gem style razor (Dot 1) which was created by a fellow member Roger Quintero. I had dot 1 (mild) and dot 2 (medium aggressive) made by Shapeways which is a very large 3D printer out of New York City. The pass a round will start with Dot 1. This is a one piece razor once the handle is attached to the head. I used JB Weld epoxy which has a psi of over 3000 (over kill) The razor is made from fine smooth plastic and weighs only 17 grams. I have been using dot 1 for at least 10 shaves and it does a great job without any irritation whatsoever. However, the razor is very mild and might require several passes. The most important thing to do while shaving is to keep the razor FLAT against your face or else nothing will happen.  I have found dot 2 to be a lot more efficient but again the razor has to be FLAT against the face.
Loading a Gem blade is easy once you get the hang of it. You fit the spine of the blade in first and then use your thumb on one end and forefinger on the other end and work the blade back until the ends go into the grooves. Whatever you do stay away from the business end of the blade. To remove push one end at a time until the blade is free. I don't have any Gem blades wrapped so you might have to supply your own blades. The razor is very noisy but the blade is very secure in the head.

IF YOUR INTERESTED START A LIST (I AM IN) AND PLEASE INDICATE YOUR STATE (USA only)   Who ever is first will get the razor from me. Please use a padded envelope and ship it First Class when sending to the next member.

Any chance a 3dot will be available for passaround?
I didn't realize Roger is a member here, I've watched his 3D shave bowl design being used on YouTube.

Not from me. I have a dot 2 which might be passed around at a later date. I had these made at Shapeways from Roger's file. Because the dot 2 have been perfect so far I don't plan on buying the more aggressive dot 3.
