.

Looks like the listing says it only ships to the EU and UK. So, my guess is any offer, regardless of being appealing, would be denied for the US?

In his description he says "Will post worldwide, l expect international interest in this as it is extremely rare", so clearly he thinks us yanks are just as likely to overpay for it.
But when I went to put in my offer it wouldn't even take it because the system reads it as not accepting international shipping... so clearly I had to message the seller to let him know, hopefully he can change it so that my offer can go through. I plan on using the 200 number that dtownvino brought up, sounds like a nice round number  Happy2

Well someone really wanted it. Looks like it went for £1800, I got the same offer.

This tactic is often used as an inside job to push up the market value. Not saying that’s what happened here. Just saying ...

A couple of decent looking vintage razors and, while I am not a blade aficionado, some interesting looking blades.

I am sure you would.  I have a couple of decent Kronas and Techs and enjoy them very much.  I thought the blade lovers might find something interesting about the blades - vintage blades often go for much more - but as I said I am not a blade aficionado.

Vintage blades on the ‘bay are a real crapshoot in my opinion. I’ve bought things there that include some, and the cases look great in the photos but then the blades inside are rusted and grimy as hell. Just comes with the territory of course…

An interesting looking razor that does not seem to have much interest on eBay at this point.
