E-mail Clients

Ok guys, ive been struggling for the last 2 or 3 years with a sluggish email client. I have several email addresses for my business and would like one email client to handle all of them. Currently I'm using Polymail (free version) and it's so unbelievably buggy I can't stand it anymore.

Does anyone have an e-mail client they can recommend? Free would be great, or one flat fee. I'd prefer not to have to pay a monthly fee for my emails.

I'm using the new Android version of Spark, handles my three addressees just fine.

I'm looking more for one to be used on my Mac, sorry I should have specified. I'm temporarily using the Mail app built into the Mac and so far it's already working MUCH better. Just looking for something better.

I use Postbox, which is available for both Mac and Windows. It’s originally based on Mozilla Thunderbird, but in my opinion is a greatly improved version of that program. Although its age does show in some aspects, it is constantly being updated, and can handle multiple addresses, etc. The price is also very reasonable — $40 for a lifetime license, instead of yet another subscription service that seems to be the new standard for almost everything…

I was using Outlook 2016 (full/pro version) and switched to Mailbird last October and glad I did. It's quick, easy to use, some customizations, etc. I only use it with one email account (gmail) and it syncs nicely with gmail web application. It also integrates to Google Calendar and Docs among other apps.

There is a free version (Mailbird lite) but it limited to supporting one email account
The paid version (Mailbird Pro) supports unlimited email accounts. You can choose yearly $7.20 or lifetime $23.70 (USD). I went with lifetime and paid $29.50 at the time.

Mailbird has some nice features, and I used it for a while when it was still quite new. Then I learned that there were some fairly serious security flaws in the program, which is when I stopped using it. That was quite a while ago, though, so hopefully they have taken that feedback and information into account in their continuing development.

Like said, that was a while ago, so I would imagine that changes have been made.

In general, good desktop e-mail clients are not the “hot item” they used to be, it seems. It’s rather difficult to find one that has a modern feature set, yet isn't too bloated, or on the other hand, too simplistic.

I don't know about on a mac, but I've been using thunderbird for a very long time and it has served me well...and it's free.
