I love threads like this one because I get to see what other guys are using to solve the needs/problems we all have. I get lots of good ideas. 
I like the leather Dopp kits but I also really like the ones that hang on a hook like the LL Bean mentioned earlier - its great that they can hang on the back of the door in a hotel bathroom. I'm thinking hotels ought to get on board and put a hook to one side of the sink/vanity so that the bag would hang exactly where you need it. Small issue but it won't swing back and forth as you go in and out of the bathroom.
