Just finished my second (?) container of my favorite cold weather aftershave balm, Declaration Grooming unscented liniment. No other balm I've tried leaves my skin feeling as soft, supple, and protected from the elements as this stuff does. It is thick, but non-greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin. A little goes a long way too. The only drawback is that it does have a slight funk from the bison tallow when you first put it on, but that goes away within a minute.
